Between Mykolaiv and Kherson

James Meek reports from Mykolaiv and its surrounding area in southern Ukraine, which is being hit every day by Russian missiles. This part of the country, rich in agriculture, has become a crucial battleground as Russian forces seek to maintain control of the land they’ve occupied around the city of Kherson, and the Ukrainians try to push them back over the Dnieper river.
