Promote Your Clinic!

Tags: |

The blog received its first slice of healthcare privatisation spam last night:

Following our initial launch inviting clinics to register with “The Clinic Finder”, we have had a tremendous response from both the UK and overseas. These clinics will soon be benefiting from the leads being generated by people searching for a wide variety of Healthcare providers when we open for searches on 16th May 2011. To ensure your clinic can be found, please register now at http://www.theclinicfinder.co.uk. I would appreciate it if this correspondence could be passed on to the person who is responsible for promoting your clinic to the public and medical practitioners.

Don’t be reluctant to click on that link: among the wonders on offer are ‘Dentists, cosmetic surgeons, chiropractors & many more…’ and ‘Coming soon to The Clinic Finder MEDICAL TOURISM’. As Andrew Lansley says, ‘What is important is for patients to be able to exercise choice.’ Forget quality of care: who needs NICE when you’ve got The Clinic Finder? And so, to increase patient choice and widen the variety of healthcare providers even further, we’ve decided to take The Clinic Finder up on their offer: the LRB blog clinic will soon be open for business. We have no medical training, admittedly, but on the plus side we’re dead cheap.

Drats! I thought I was going to have a monopoly!

Can I interest you in a Franchise Opportunity? If not, are you offering them?

If we set up enough SIVs, we can revolutionise both the medical and financial services industries. (Book title: “Everything I know in Life I Learned from Andrew Fastow“)

You could branch out into being mammography providers, I’m sure The London Review of Boobs is a snappy enough name to provide instant market share.

The cosmetology division? The London Review of Looks…

Surely there is significant in-house expertise in mental health treatment: the London Review of Kooks.

And let’s not forget, care is one thing, but it’s the bottom line that counts – quality medical care from The London Review of (Cheque)Books.

  6. Geoff Roberts says:

Typical. Why don’t you seize the chance that looms here? “Chose the wrong clinic? We’ll make the best of the rest for you. They make millions. For a moderate retainer we will sue the socks off them. Grabbit & Runne, medical errors are our speciality.”
