The intersect with “Young and quite pretty” is large, I suspect.
What might the book be like if Joyce stood up and wrote Sin City? City of Boh-foot?
What a song and dance about Paul Bailey.
“heat with an imagination reared”
Hmmm. I don’t think that makes any sense at all.
I now know why my last novel bombed. I am active and I think I have a personality, and I was even hanging around the London literary scene at the time. But clearly I didn’t connect all these things sufficiently, nor was I well connected in general. No wonder no one opened the book.
