Chalmers Johnson 1931-2010

Chalmers Johnson, the author of Blowback: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire, who died last Saturday, wrote a number of pieces for the LRB: on, among other things, Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers, the CIA in Afghanistan, and extraordinary rendition.
