I may be an old-fashioned fart, but it looks to me like a movie trailer. Have you sold the movie rights before the book has been published?
Perhaps he should have saved his money for a night out with some kidflic helmer, who would have paid him back with a fancy blurb and by hyping it among his circles. I am 30, I grew up with the ‘net, and I think this latest fad is way too ridiculous. It reminds me of two things: Lewis Lapham’s prediction that writers would start lauching their books by performing such stunts as parachuting into Manhattan’s Battery Park; and more pathetically, the fat man’s mantra-like defense for his sad deeds in Roy Andersson’s “Song’s from the Second Floor”: “But a man has to eat, a man has to put some food on the table!” What’s next… I really, really wonder…
I was hoping for a little porn. Is that too much to ask?
